Traveler Experience
If there was a tool that could reduce pressure on your call center, help your agency meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, all the while creating a better, more empowered client experience for your demand response riders, would you use it?
I recently co-hosted a webinar with my colleague Andrew McKechnie, Product Director – Traveler Information, where we discussed how your agency can empower its paratransit passengers with self-service scheduling and planning tools to improve their client experience. With that, we introduced the new and improved PASS-WEB application for paratransit services, the browser application that lets your clients self-service their ride scheduling and planning.
The application itself is designed to be responsive to different devices, and in our webinar, Andrew discussed in depth what responsive design is, and how it is integral in making PASS-WEB a powerful web-app.
After this I then went on to describe how PASS-WEB empowers your passengers with the exciting new “Where’s My Ride” function of PASS WEB:
- It empowers your passengers to determine where their ride is
- They can see their vehicle on a map as it approaches for pickup
- It allows the user to communicate with the driver
- The application puts all of the details of past and future trips in the palm of their hand
We then PASS it back to Andrew to take a deep-dive into the various features of PASS-WEB in our Product Spotlight:
- Sign-in screen and user security
- PASS-WEB’s intuitive calendar interface
- Self-service trip booking and information
- Email, text and phone notifications
To finish off the webinar, I described why your agency needs the power of PASS-WEB:
- It lowers your costs by taking pressure of your call center, and by reducing cancellations and wait times.
- It empowers your passengers to make changes to their bookings in a heartbeat anytime, anywhere.
