Sales Manager - WA
THE POSITION
CourtView seeks a motivated and skilled Sales Manager to prospect, develop and close new justice technology software sales in key regional markets. This will involve proactively creating business opportunities by building relationships on behalf of the company, managing accounts and closing sales. Other responsibilities include ongoing evaluation of industry requirements to support corporate growth, market share and profitability.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Penetrate new target markets to establish fresh opportunities for expansion
- Develop and leverage relationships with CourtView’s existing customers to expand current contracts
- Develop and deliver winning presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients
- Attend conferences and industry trade shows to increase recognition in the market
- Coordinating responses to RFPs & RFQs
- Provides forecasts, analyzes and prepares metrics of the sales effort
- Participates in local and regional user and prospect groups
- Develop/maintain internal sales budgets for region of responsibility
THE PERSON
The ideal candidates for the Sales Manager role lives in Washington and has experience selling software solutions to state and local government agencies, preferably in the justice processes (i.e., primarily courts, prosecutor, defender, probation, detention and law enforcement) in the target geography. Bachelor’s in business or marketing preferred; or equivalent education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Verifiable recent track record of accomplishments identifying and closing on new business opportunities of software sales
- 5 or more years of sales experience in software and/or systems sales or business development background in state and local government and is familiar with government procurement processes
- Dynamic, enthusiastic individual with strong written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to manage your own workflow in an extremely fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Salesforce.com preferred
- Ability to travel frequently based on business objectives
- Reside close to a major airport
