EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or a certificate from a technical training institute with one year of programming experience with related technologies; comprehensive knowledge of the Windows 2003/2008 environment as well as C#, XML, HTML, Java Script, SQL and web technology as well as familiarity with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases; ability to interact positively and effectively in a team environment; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.

 

  • Develop and strategize future direction of software products to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • Consult with Project Managers, Quality Assurance and Support staff on the development of FleetFocus products and the customer's standard work flow and Best Practices.
  • Assist in defining system interfaces, data conversion requirements, and software modifications required by customer or to support general enhancement of the application.
  • Perform and/or assist in complex bug verifications, release testing, and customer specific beta software support.
  • Perform on-site work and/or support the efforts of ASSETWORKS on-site personnel to support the implementation of FleetFocus software systems in complex customer environments.
  • Discuss development activities with ASSETWORKS Trainers and Support staffers who provide services as part of the implementation and on-going maintenance, and provide training, if required.
  • Assist in the development of specifications of enhancements and functional additions to the ASSETWORKS product line.
  • Prepare and deliver technical correspondence to Support both internal and external communications associated with the development of new FleetFocus, including program modification specification, data interface specifications, and data conversion specifications.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
