Trapeze Software Acquires Multisystems Information Technology Group

August 20, 2002 (Scottsdale, AZ) - Trapeze Software Group announced today that it has acquired Multisystems Information Technology Group, a division of Multisystems, Inc.

Based in Cambridge, MA, Multisystems Information Technology Group provides scheduling, operations, information, and GIS software to public transit and paratransit organizations throughout North America.

“Multisystems has been a formidable competitor for many years, and has built a very strong client base in the demand response and fixed route sectors,” said Rick Bacchus, President of Trapeze Software Group. “By combining their expertise and market share with ours, we are in a very strong position to deliver fully integrated solutions to the transportation industry.”

“The Midas, RidePro and WorkPro product lines will be integrated into the Trapeze system over the next year,” Mr. Bacchus said. “We will continue to support Multisystems clients through offices in Cambridge and Pittsburgh and we’ll work with them individually to ensure a smooth transition to Trapeze.”
