Autokraft Kiel Chooses Trapeze
Bus Company to Use Crew Allocation Software System
6th August, 2003 (Århus, Denmark) Trapeze Software Europe announced today that it has signed an agreement with Autokraft Kiel (AK), to deliver a crew allocation software system.
Based in Kiel, AK provides regional bus services in the Schleswig-Holstein area of Northern Germany. The company will use the Trapeze system to build more efficient and transparent duty planning, allocation and settlement processes.
AK selected Trapeze following a thorough test phase during which the system was implemented in two operational areas. Implementation, staff training and wage data exports were carried out in just six weeks. The quick implementation and the comprehensive quality of the Trapeze solution were the deciding factors for AK in awarding the contract.
“The system meets all our demands and needs. The functionally is very comprehensive, yet flexible and easy to use. In addition, during the test phase Trapeze has proven to be a very competent partner. Both support and project management have been exemplary,” says Mr. Torsten Kruse, Project Manager for AK.
All AK depots and locations are expected to have the Trapeze system operational this autumn.
Autokraft is a subsidiary of Deutsche Bahn and employs about 500 people in its transport service. For more information about Autokraft. please go to http://www.autokraft.de
