Trapeze Releases New Version of MapNet

School Transportation software updates include SQL Server support

MARCH 18, 2004 (BEACHWOOD, OH) – Trapeze Software has released a new version of its integrated school transportation software suite.

MapNet 3.3 includes a new Explorer interface to help users navigate through the application more quickly and easily.

“We have also added support for MS SQL Server 2000 and improved our Oracle 9i compatibility,” explains Ken Bakke, Product Manager for MapNet.

The school trip functionality in the suite has been expanded to include new pre-trip fields for teacher names and trip method.

“In the fleet management area, we have included an enhanced work order feature that streamlines inventory management and automatically generates work orders based on preventative maintenance that is due,” Mr. Bakke says. “We have also expanded the bar code printing capabilities and added new standard reports.”
