Commute Connection to Showcase Online Ridematching
Presentation at conference will demonstrate Trapeze RidePro solution
March 18, 2004 (Scottsdale, AZ) – Commute Connection, the San Joaquin Council of Governments’ (SJCOG) rideshare program, will be showcasing its successful online ridematching program at the Western Regional Association for Commuters (ACT) Conference on April 22, 2004.
Steve Mayo, a Regional Planner for SJCOG, will demonstrate how Trapeze Ridepro is used by the organization’s staff to increase productivity and efficiency in producing accurate rideshare matches using GIS data.
Mr. Mayo will also demonstrate the RidePro Web interface which allows commuters to register and match rides online through Commute Connection’s website.
The two-day ACT conference runs from April 23 to 24 in San Francisco, CA and is attended by transportation management agencies, federal, state and local government officials, regional rideshare organizations, and transit agencies from the western United States.
