Trapeze Launches New Medical Product

Trapeze MT offers affordable solutions for automated scheduling, patient activity tracking and productivity management to non-emergency medical transportation providers.

MARCH 16, 2005 (SCOTTSDALE, AZ) – Trapeze Group announced the release of Trapeze MT, a web-based scheduling, tracking and management solution for the non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) market. MT is designed to provide an easy to use environment, tailored to meet the needs of NEMT providers. Industry specific features, such as standing orders, will call trips, and contract-based charge calculations are all part of the MT solution.

“With this new product, Trapeze brings proven scheduling capabilities to a market not addressed by traditional medical software systems,” said Rick Bacchus, President of the Trapeze Group. “Our expertise will provide the NEMT industry with the technological capability to better meet the growing demands for Healthcare services in the U.S.”

MT reduces operational costs by automatically routing vehicles in the most efficient manner, while meetings the patient’s need for on-time performance. “Our MT product uses the same powerful scheduling algorithm, now in use by Trapeze transportation installations worldwide, to bring optimized transportation solutions to the NEMT community,” Bacchus explains.

Clearly defined functional processes decrease training time and costs to install, train, and begin live operations in a matter of weeks. Affordable pricing, combined with reduced training costs make MT available to businesses that have never before had the benefit of automated scheduling. Software rental and ASP hosting configurations are also available.

Optional modules for MT include a Medicaid billing interface, mobile device communications, and in-vehicle mobile data computers (MDC) to provide real-time information to drivers. Future product plans for the newly formed Medical Division of Trapeze include solutions for In-Hospital Patient transportation and a wide range of tools for home health providers.
