Trapeze Version 7 to Launch at North American User Conference

Latest version of the Trapeze Enterprise Suite provides advanced features, functionality, stability and interoperability

SCOTTSDALE, AZ, March 20, 2007 —Trapeze Group today announced that it will unveil the latest version of its existing back-office enterprise suite at the upcoming North American User Conference in Phoenix, Arizona. Called Trapeze Version 7 this latest edition from Trapeze provides customers with significant advances in features, functionality, stability and interoperability.

In keeping with the company’s ‘software for life’ philosophy, an upgrade to Trapeze Version 7 is included as part of Trapeze’s regular maintenance package. Customers attending the Trapeze North American User Conference April 29 – May 2, 2007 in Phoenix, Arizona will have a sneak preview and an opportunity for ‘hands on’ experience with the new version over the four day customer event that attracts more than 400 users of Trapeze solutions.

Trapeze Version 7 boasts significant new features and improved functionality across several of the company’s solution suites including Customer Information, Demand Response, Operations Management, and Scheduling & Planning. Some of the highlights of Trapeze Version 7 by solution suite include:

Customer Information:

• An advanced itinerary generation algorithm for improved customer trip plans.
• Form letters and e-mail notifications and reminders to specific groups or individuals helping to improve response time to commendations and complaints.
• Automated and personalized passenger reminders or updates when and where travelers want it through various mediums such as voice, e-mail, and SMS (short message services.)
  

Demand Response Management:

• Ability to swap vehicles based on capacity and need enabling demand response organizations to realize significant efficiencies in their service and vehicles.
• Streamlined management of client data through an easy to use wizard enabling updates to client information on-the-fly.

Operations Management: 

• Advanced functionality for absence inquiries and accident/incident reporting providing better insight into absenteeism abuse.
• Additional information panes in the Employee Profile Screen have been added to support the viewing of historical pay rates and vehicle assignments
• Many security and auditing improvements

Scheduling and Planning:

• A new and improved algorithm for runcutting and blocking providing hard savings in scheduling efficiency.
• Ability to perform trip building functions on multiple lines at the same time for a more intuitive and efficient scheduling process.
