We have reorganized into four business units to deliver the best software solutions powering public transit for today and tomorrow

Today, we’re marking an important milestone for Trapeze Group North America. We have reorganized into four business units centered around our core product families to provide an exceptional level of service for our customers.

Trapeze’s four business units are:

• Trapeze Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) led by Steve Sawyer (interim)
• Trapeze Mobility on Demand (MoD) led by Michael Lester
• Trapeze Workforce Management (WM) led by Tim Bigwood
• Trapeze Mobility Planning and Scheduling (MPS) led by Brian Canivet

Why now: Accelerating innovation and increased flexibility for each business

This is a critical time for public transit, and you have told us that you need to move faster than ever to meet the changing needs of your communities. Focusing our services through individual business units based on our product families will enable the focus and speed of innovation that you require to continue to deliver a world-class customer experience.

The four business units will now be enabled to focus on their areas of expertise without innovation being inhibited by other competing priorities. Within the new business units, we’re creating the agility of a startup while continuing to be backed by the resources of Trapeze’s 30-year history and financial stability. While Trapeze is an experienced company you can trust to deliver reliable and safe solutions, our goal with this new structure is to provide you with the speed and agility to meet the needs of today’s quickly changing transit landscape.

We are at a critical juncture in transit. At our March customer conference, ThinkTransit, we saw your excitement for the future of our industry. But there was a wariness and weariness, too. We are collectively thinking about how we can deliver transit in new and improved ways: from the environment to equity and inclusion, and from new service models to how we look at fares. So much of public transit is changing—and we’re all changing with it. To make sure we can deliver on our promise to be Here for the Journey, we are adapting today to meet your developing needs.
