Bus to Pedestrian Collisions have become a larger issue in recent years. Due to this, we will have two business members on the panel. One will discuss technology including audible sensors and turning alerts. Another will cover how to effectively track and measure pedestrian-to-bus safety mitigation actions. Finally, the FTA will provide an overview of its bus-to-pedestrian collision safety programs.

Panelist on Bus to Pedestrian Collisions: Use of Technology and Mitigation Actions

Sabrina Blais leverages technology to create innovative solutions for challenges in the public transit sector. Her passion lies in finding opportunities to contribute knowledge to the wave of transit agencies using this unique time in history as an opportunity to accelerate innovation. Since joining Trapeze she has focused on supporting the needs of safety teams, designing and overseeing the build of the new RISC product. In her spare time, she likes to travel, try new cuisines, climb (small) mountains, and scuba dive.
